Animal Farm and YOU
Animal farm can be referenced to many historic points if you really go in depth with it. Since we've most recently discussed Stalin it's easy to relate him to Napoleon and Trotsky definetly can be related to Snowball. Because George Orwell is familiar with Russian Communism, the book Animal Farm can be directly related to the revolution that took place. Not only does it relate to the Communist era but it has shades of revolution ideas. The animals on the farm are represented as the working class. Because they feel below the social level they revolt against the humans. This has some familiarity to the French Revolution and how the 3rd estate felt like they weren't be represented they revolted.
