The French and Russian Revolutions
The Russian Revolution did not model itself after the French Revolution. Though both involved great amounts of violence, the Russian Revolution was different from the French Revolution in a few key ways. The Russian Revolution was different because it was far less bloody; there were less public executions, there was no guillotine. The russian revolution had far less killings. Also, the French revolution was different because it came out of relative peace time; the Russian revolution erupted during the middle of war
