What influences a state

When looking at the time period of the Ming Dynasty, they show various factors that influenced the size and the strength of a state. During the Ming Dynasty the Emperor started to go back to the teachings of Confucian, believing that it was necessary to follow his knowledge. He also rebuilt the judicial system making it stronger. These changes would go under the category politics since he was repairing and refining the judicial system. A strong state also needs a strong economic structure. The Ming Dynasty had focused on a revival of the economic system. The Ming dynasty had a strong dominance over trade in foreign areas. Once the Ming Dynasty had full control of their judicial and economic systems they were then able to form more states and form bigger stronger armies.
