Factors that Make a State
The factors that make up a successful state are stable government/leaders, connections, and diversity. For the social aspect, connections with other allies, that are stronger, or states that can give you something when you need it, especially during war times. For example during the Revolutionary War, America had allies in France, that helped them eventually win the war. Another example is North korea, they are not successful because they are in isolation from the rest of the world. For the political aspect, a stable government is the main key to success. For example, countries like Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan who have unstable governments, are not very successful and have many internal conflicts. Diversity is another important factor, in the cultural aspect. When a country is diverse, more people from other country would want to come live there, and could lead to more allies. The United States is a great example. People from all over the world come live in the United States, and helped make the country successful compared to other countries.
